Meet Julie
Hi, I'm Julie, and I'm looking forward to meeting you...
I’ve been a teacher, a wife and a Mum of 3 children, but it's time I introduced myself for who I am as a person, and as a woman, not just the many hats we wear.
I’ve loved being a teacher and a trainer of children and adults for over 25 years, helping others embrace themselves and reach their potential. My mission is to empower you to feel worthy and to embrace your potential. I believe that connection makes a difference. I would love for you to reignite your spark and rediscover YOU on our retreats, trips & events. I will be your guide and mentor, and will organise everything in a package, so all you need to do is turn up and relax!
We are living in difficult times these days, and we need to be proactive about the mental health. As women, we are impacted by social media & technology. We never feel we are "good enough". We all crave kindness, connection and support. SGN's motto is "Be Your Own Kind of Beautiful".
I founded Sensational Girls Network in 2020. I have loved my research of Positive Psychology to put together the SGN programs. I'm also a qualified Mental Health First Aider.
Women work extremely hard these days trying to juggle it all and often feel they don't have enough time for themselves and don't prioritise themselves. Our busy schedules require planning and intention to fit in connection with others. It requires you to look after your own self care, as your identity can often get lost in helping everyone else.
I also live with an invisible disability called Fibromyalgia which prevents me from doing the most simple of the tasks without a lot of pain. I ensure that I live life to the fullest, and don't let my disability define me.
I've had great times and challenging times throughout my life, as we all have, but in times of adversity, women support women.
And especially in times of empty nest and getting older, we need to find our identity as a woman.
You need to put your own "oxygen mask" first, so you can be the best woman you want to be.
Today I invite you to be intentional about your mental health by joining us on our specialised programs. Come and share your journey with me.
